Since 1773 this Kentucky Bourbon gets its name from the pioneering spirit of the three McAfee brothers who explored westward until they made it to Kentucky and created what is now known as Buffalo Trace Distilleries. The smell of caramel hits the nose gently, while the taste is robust and sturdy. Fine leather notes and mingling dry tobacco are mixed with oak and a hint a dried cherries leaving the finish smooth and calming.
